Cirrus Shower: Revolutionary Experience, Uses 75% Less Water

Christmas is fast approaching and you’d be hard pressed to find a group of people as excited as the Cirrus team! All around the office our tune has been “all we want for Christmas is the Best Showerhead Ever Made”.  

And just like a workshop of busy elves (but taller and better-dressed), we’ve been working hard on perfecting the design of the Cirrus showerhead to improve it’s durability, efficiency, and quality. We won’t rest until this product wow’s all of you, our awesome backers who have supported us through this journey.  

Product development is sitting at over 90% complete – we’re so close!  

The current challenge we’re facing has to do with the production process. We use an ultrasonic welding technique to assemble the products, and some parts are too long/not resistant enough. The percentage of defective products in production testing has been too high for our quality standards.  

An engineering consultant has been brought on board to fix this problem – and we’re excited to have it fixed soon.  

We’ll keep you updated on this process and the production timeline as things progress. For those of you eagerly awaiting the arrival of your Cirrus showerhead – we extend our sincerest apologies for this delay.

A small delay for a BIG reason

As winter rolls around the corner, there’s nothing we’d like more than to relax in the warm aromatic mist of a Cirrus shower. We want to make sure your experience is as extravagant and comforting as a steamy sauna on a chilly night, while being as efficient and adaptable as Santa himself. 

So we’ve been doing some tinkering. 

This month we met with designers and engineers at the factory to create an even better product for you, our valuable backers. The system needed to be more user-friendly, efficient and durable. Because we know you expect the BEST from your Cirrus shower system. 

Our engineers took some extra time in Research and Development to improve the adaptability of your revolutionary new showerhead. Because we know that having the choice to easily change functions and water flow is important to you. 

Due to this extra development, there’s been a delay in production. 

We’re truly sorry for this delay, but we believe you’ll be overjoyed with the quality product that we deliver. 

As a “Thank You” for your patience and continued support, we’re offering a free aromatherapy pod set to all of our backers.

The samples are in!

Dear Backers,

The leaves are changing and winter is just around the corner. When the nights get chilly, imagine relaxing in your warm, aromatic, misty Cirrus shower.

We’ve been hard at work to move production along its course just in time for the snow to fall. Here are some key achievements we’ve made this past month:

• Final prototypes should be delivered next week thanks to hard work and collaboration with our factories

• Leaking issues have been solved and the size of the showerhead has been increased to offer a better shower experience

• Our presentation at the Maison & Objet trade show in Paris was an amazing success! We received overwhelmingly positive feedback, love, and support. The most popular color choice was the Champagne Cirrus Set

• We’ve signed distribution agreements with over 6 countries and are commencing negotiations to distribute in over 15 more countries. Cirrus will be worldwide – wow! 

• It was great to meet a few of our backers at the trade show and get to personally know the people supporting us. We owe our backers a lot – without you we could have never experienced this amazing journey Take peak at the final Cirrus samples! 

If you would like to change your color choice or other information, you still have until the end of this month to do so. 

All BackerKit payments will be collected at the end of September.

Huge Updates For Cirrus (Have You Completed Your Survey Yet?)

We hope our backers have been enjoying an amazing fun-filled summer. While the summer for us has been exciting, it’s also been a ton of hard work producing and improving Cirrus.

Many huge leaps forward have been made since our last update. Here’s the lowdown! • Awesome news – we’ve received Patent Approval for our core and aromatherapy diffuser technology!

• All of our aromatherapy pods will now be manufactured with an environmentally friendly biodegradable material 

• After discovering some potential issues with leaks in the showerhead, we hit the factory and tweaked our moulds. The problems are almost resolved and the showerhead further improved 

• Moulds and production samples are set to be finished in September 

• Our booth design is being finalized for the Maison & Objet Trade Show in September – we hope to see some of you there! 

• The Cirrus color box is being finalized and designs will be sent to you in the next update 

Exciting stuff is going on every day at Cirrus Headquarters! We’d like to thank you all for being on this journey with us. The wait will be worth it as soon as you step into your first Cirrus shower, cocooned in misty warmth. 

One last thing! 675 backers have still not responded to their post-campaign survey! If you have not responded to your survey, please do so ASAP at www.cirrus-shower.backerkit.com and register with the email address you used to back us with on Kickstarter. This is will ensure you receive exactly what you pledged for.
